  • Lot #437 - 1908 Indian NGC MS-65
  • Gold $5-Indian Head Half Eagle
  • 116 graded MS-65 35 higher at NGC. "Eye appeal" is in the eyes of the beholder but one would be hard-pressed to find anything not appealing about such a superbly preserved half-eagle with clean lines and marvelous definition. This smooth, softly frosted surface offers a hint of lime-green within the recesses and showboats virtually no distinguishable abrasions.

Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
