Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
Briggs 7-F. 3 graded MS-63, 6 higher at NGC. Common as can be in circulated grade, the 1856-O was clearly not saved in large numbers based on very rare status as mint-state at both grading services. This is a very bright, shimmering white example with prodigious luster off of clashed dies. While not often mentioned, obverse stars on the left are rather grotesquely repunched for this obverse die.

Circa 1960/1970 and signed by an unknown maker, here’s a sterling silver (tested) squash blossom necklace. With turquoise cabs that look like they might be from the Kingman mine, this necklace features a seven stone Naja pendant as well as 10 blossoms and a hook/eye closure. Possibly Navajo origin. Length 22”, 5.60 troy ounces.
