Cris Lindy-Ping Collection. The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Greyish residue on the obverse highpoints looks much like what is often seen on double-eagles returned from old European bank hoards. The brash and brassy surface exhibits less abrading than expected of the numeric grade.
