Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
Peripheral, spindly die cracks surround the reverse and connect most of USofA, suggesting a rapidly failing die. This side also shows markedly more abrasions than the obverse, the latter side surprisingly close to a fully choice appearance. Brilliant, frosty and showing nice lemon-gold hue.

Scarcely discernible from each other, the MS-64 shows only two tiny obverse marks, but also one noticeable ding above the eagle's shoulder. Meanwhile, the MS-65 appears almost perfectly free from contact until one locates a shiny, sharp bagmark on the eagle's neck. Two coin lot.
