  • Lot #920 - 1914 Matte Proof PCGS PR-66RB
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. 50 graded PR-66 RB, 20 higher at PCGS. An incredible strike, even for a matte proof, brought up full relief for "O" in ONE opposite Lincoln's shoulder, a classic problem area even for these wonderful specimens from the U.S. mint. Satiny texture prevails over the obverse while the reverse has taken on an appealing granular aspect from that die. Not-so-subtle verdant hues occupy a majority of the surface, surrounded by glimmering vintage copper-gold hue on the obverse, contrasted with saturated magenta undertones on the reverse.

  • Lot #691 - 1901 CACG MS-61
  • Hammer: $4,300
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • The 1901 suffers a double whammy of extensive circulation and mediocre production such that even mint-state pieces rarely show up "nice". All in all, at MS-61, this is a decent example that manages some noticeable windmill effect. Plentiful bagmarks scatter about, but none is individually overly intrusive on the eye. To its credit, nicer toning has evolved, starting with a nice mixture sea-blue, magenta-orange and rose at the rims and passing into predominant coral-rose nearer the centers.

  • Lot #246 - 14K White Gold Vintage Watch
  • Hammer: $1,900
  • Jewelry-Watches
  • Although this peice may not tell the time anymore, this spectacular vintage watch could definitely be worn as a bracelet! The petite piece features an approximate .50 ct. square emerald cut on either side, SI clarity, H color with another estimated 1.25 cttw in single cut and European cut round diamonds, SI clarity, H-I color. The diamonds are accompanied by royal blue synthetic French cut sapphires and what appear to be natural rectangular blue sapphires. There is a safety chain that runs from the watch to the clasp on either side. Length 6”, 16.7 dwt.
