  • Lot #572 - Three 1923-D NGC MS-64
  • Hammer: $9,000
  • Gold $20-Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
  • A trio of Saints has scarcely anything to distinguish one from another save the placement of minor bagmarks. All of them boom and bellow with brilliant orange-gold luster just as expected of near-gem pieces. I need to mow my lawn today while you, dear bidder, get to bid on a three coin lot.

  • Lot #631 - Four 1881-S NGC MS-66
  • Hammer: $900
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Cartwheeling luster displays that reveal virtually no marks or issues are noticed throughout this very handsome foursome of 1881-S Morgan dollars that have been graded by NGC as MS-66. All four of these are wonderfully white and boast gleaming surfaces that are certainly adequate for their assigned grades. Older generation NGC holders lends further credence to the possibility of these pieces being conservatively graded (ck).
