A run of six consecutive United States proof sets dating from 1950 through 1955 fill this group lot. Each of these sets are securely housed inside of a Capital plastics holder and appear to be original sets that were simply transplanted. Nearly identical toning patterns (within each set) and undipped surfaces lend even further credence that these sets are truly original (ck).

VAM-7, with a doubled mintmark "inside" per the VAM guide. Typical bag abrasions on the cheek limit the grade, but very few intrusions visit the field. And with luster to spare, this more difficult Carson City will find many suitors in the audience. An especially original and pleasing silver dollar for the grade.

I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
