  • Lot #229 - Error - 2015 Lincoln cent struck on a struck Roosevelt dime
  • Collector Lots-Error Coins
  • Sandra Wilson Algiers Estate. Sandra Wilson Algiers Collection. The cent was struck at a rotation of about 120 degrees, allowing the date to appear twice, although the later cent striking partially erased the final "5" from the dime's prior strike. The reverse is a veritable melange of contorted, intermingled details with both sides showing evidence of the copper core out beyond the rims. So well struck that the diameter very nearly reached that of an actual cent's flan.

  • Lot #126 - 1863 $10 Fr# 95 - PMG AU-58/small tear
  • Hammer: $7,500
  • US Currency-Legal Tender Notes, Large
  • Often found cut a little askew, this particularly bright example has been almost ideally centered and squared properly when viewed from either side, which means the back of the note is as appealing as the front. Signatures were stamped a little high but are as bold and deep black as can be. A "small tear" as called out by PMG only just barely requires mention because it technically touches a portion of the design (the border line) else it would escape notice. Not mentioned is a tiny dab of greenish residue positioned below the offending "tear" -- the cataloger speculates a staple may have been professionally removed from the edge at some point.

  • Hammer: $3,500
  • Jewelry-Pendants
  • Right on trend, this 14K yellow gold chunky necklace has a row of small round diamonds throughout weighing approximately 3.00 cttw, SI clarity, I color. The necklace measures 6.2mm wide and could easily be layered with other necklaces or would stand alone quite nicely. Length 19”, 55.6 dwt.
