Early United States mint sets are among the most difficult items to find in their original condition and packaging. There are five such issues here that includes a 1949, a 1951, a 1952, a 1954, and a 1957. Each of these are still in their original cardboard sleeves and envelopes as well. Luxurious pearl-grey and frosty chartreuse toward the upper periphery declare a fully original surface for the obverse, while the reverse simmers nicely beneath exquisite midnight-purple and violet hues. The coin appears to be exceptionally well struck and the only visible detriment is a small area of abrasions intruding into the obverse right field.
