Silver Dollar-Liberty Seated
Mintage: 27,200. Cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned] even though considerable patina has returned after spending decades in album storage. Noticeable luster percolates between the stars but is somehow a little distorted in broader areas of the field due to abrading. A precisely struck silver dollar that looks a lot nicer than the disclaimer might imply.

Though considerably abraded almost to the point of overall matte texture, lovely mustard-gold coloration acquires flashy character between some peripheral lettering. The lower left quadrant of the shield nearly always displays the minimal softness seen here.

Average condition case and crystal. Winds, sets and runs. B. Ball Official RR Standard Cleveland on face. Movement # B800462. Watch has some trouble setting and winding.
