  • Lot #386 - 1854 AU details/tooled, and an 1874 XF details/ex-jewelry, both PCGS
  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • Zee's Densities Collection. Impairments place a damper on this 3-dollar duo, but how often does one find an auction lot with two certified examples? Included are: 1854 (delicate hairlines subtly traverse the lower portrait, erasing a few contact marks), and 1874 (glittering brightly as is typical of previously edge-mounted examples). Two coin lot.

  • Grand National Collection. L&M-465, KM#y73.2, long center spine on tail, Pei Yang Arsenal mint. Delicately frosted and a trifle muted, either side still portrays a fair amount of luster despite NGC's "cleaned" disclaimer. Struck with shallow characters toward left and bottom of the obverse (which is back-mounted as usual by NGC).
