Silver Dollar-Morgan
Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [MS-62], the obverse layered in powder gold toning that tends to subdue luster, while some curiously erratic linear toning splashes show on the reverse. A bagmark lands just atop and left of the ear while another is on Liberty's upper cheek, while a fair number of small bagmarks gather into the reverse fields.

51 graded MS-65 11 higher at NGC. Something of a strike-rarity, this example of 1915-D blows away most competition with exacting definition for every single obverse star, and absolutely no trace of weakness at the juncture of the eagle's wings -- the usual trouble spots. Intense, vintage luster swirls and twirls around both sides, shimmering over mark-free surfaces.

Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
