101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. A date moderately difficult for the grade. Crisp medium-gold hues enwrap both exteriors. Incused frost is especially pronounced into the face of Chief. Minor grazing is found left and north of eagle, somewhat unavoidable for the type due to its inversed relief.
