Lot #740 - 1795 Y in Liberty over a star PCGS VF-20
Half Dollars-Flowing Hair
Annals At Phoenix Collection. Overton-121. The blundered obverse die had an erroneous star punched in where "Y" belonged, the subsequent correction leaving remnants of the points of the star visible around Y". Letters in CA on the reverse are also slightly recut to the left. The dies are not perfect, showing no evidence of clash marks along the right of Liberty's neck. A fingerprint also layers the neck, accompanied by a few stray marks at the bottom of the portrait.

Silver Dollar-Morgan
A trio of more difficult silver dollars gets circulated representation. Included with [Cataloger's grade] are: 1879-CC [VF-25] (ultra-original, tiny rim bump at obverse far right and trivial spot on reverse at 11:00), 1901-S [XF-45] (significant luster on both sides, mostly bone-white with claims to AU), and 1904-S [VF-35] (fully XF cartwheel effect on the reverse but the obverse has lost slightly too much central detail to permit that full grade). Outstanding, problem-free coins that all seem somewhat to very choice for the assigned grade levels within this three coin lot.
