Included in this sparsely filled collection are the following issues: an 1844 large cent (AU+, artificial tone), an 1862 Indian cent (BU, obverse cleaned), an 1884 Indian cent (AU), an 1868 Two Cent piece (BU), an 1853-O Seated half-dime (AU+), a 1913 Type 1 Buffalo nickel (BU), a 1938-D Jefferson nickel (Gem BU), an 1897 Barber dime (BU, cleaned), an 1831 Capped Bust quarter (BU, lightly cleaned), an 1899 Barber quarter (AU++), a 1917 Type 1 Standing Liberty quarter (BU), an 1838 Capped Bust half-dollar (VF+), a 1915-S Barber half-dollar (BU, cleaned), a 1940 Walking Liberty half-dollar (MS-63+), a 1937-D Oregon Trail half-dollar (BU, toned), a 1935-S San Diego half-dollar (MS-63+), and a 1904-O Morgan dollar (MS-63+). Lot #691 - 1901 CACG MS-61

Silver Dollar-Morgan
The 1901 suffers a double whammy of extensive circulation and mediocre production such that even mint-state pieces rarely show up "nice". All in all, at MS-61, this is a decent example that manages some noticeable windmill effect. Plentiful bagmarks scatter about, but none is individually overly intrusive on the eye. To its credit, nicer toning has evolved, starting with a nice mixture sea-blue, magenta-orange and rose at the rims and passing into predominant coral-rose nearer the centers.
