The Walking Liberty half-dollar series is among the most popularly collected and difficult to complete collections within United States numismatics. This only becomes ever more difficult when attempting to fill it out with collector grade issues. Time and effort were clearly put into the building of this particular Dansco album collection that is complete from 1916 through 1947. Most of the remaining issues from 1939 through 1947 are either Almost Uncirculated or Choice Uncirculated and are certainly par for the course (ck).

Clem Stevens Collection. While not necessarily rare even in rarified air, the 1928 Oregon is that much easier to appreciate with such clean surfaces and a razor-sharp strike. An extremely faint layer of amber-tan layers the surface and has no hope of suppressing the shimmering silken luster.
