  • Lot #784 - 1917 PCGS MS-64, 1917-D Obverse PCGS AU-58, and a 1929-D NGC MS-63
  • Half Dollars-Walking Liberty
  • Def Grapefruit Collection. A trio of Walking Liberty half-dollars matches up well despite disparate grades. Included are 1917 (unusually smooth, platinum-grey shows an interesting line of charcoal on the reverse), 1917-D (brilliant and a true "slider" unc with virtually undetectable friction), and 1929-D (strong for the grade with unexpectedly gutsy luster and minimal surface abrasions). Three coin lot.

  • Lot #887 - 1925 Vancouver NGC MS-67
  • Hammer: $1,200
  • Silver Commemoratives-Silver Commemoratives Half-Dollars
  • 56 graded MS-67, 22 higher at NGC. One would be hard-pressed to deny the originality of this flashing, supremely lustrous Vancouver. Considerable honey-gold with cyan inflections adorns the reverse while the obverse sees more silvery character occasionally surrounded by violet and cinnamon-gold accents. A premium coin without doubt.

  • Lot #307 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $425
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
