Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Reeded Edge
Bachelor Simon Collection. GR-17, a common die-marriage readily attributed by the extensive reverse die cracks. Softly lustrous and satiny overall despite at least two bold die clashes several degrees apart from each other and the original die rotation. A curious narrow gash on the face clearly determines the grade, but overall, this is a highly pleasing type coin with a hands-length smooth appearance and an unusually bold strike.

Land And Home Collection. Hodder 2-D, Breen-190, R.6+. The "Godless" LON DON variety is much scarcer than the more often encountered GOD PRESERVE LONDON varieties. The surface of this wallet-brown example has a somewhat dry appearance but has no curious discolorations. Several tiny, curious pockmarks dot the elephant side, while the reverse shows no unexpected contact.
