A generation's worth of Morgan dollars earn at least choice BU grades at PCGS. Included are: 1879-O (very good strike over exquisite, white fine-textured matte frost surfaces), 1897-S (astounding windmill energy on pure-white mint frost), and 1904 (another very good strike but the cheek disturbed by a number of tiny bagmarks). Three coin lot.

Clem Stevens Collection. VAM-5A, and as usual, being able to narrow down the VAM assures authenticity, aside from the obvious fact that NGC has certified this crucial key date silver dollar. Despite not garnering a mint-state grade, it truly appears the texture within the fields is unbroken by friction or circulation marks, but not so on the cheek where faint rub lingers. In addition, a small number of circulation marks also pepper the cheek. While not the most valuable Morgan dollar, this is a well struck example of one of the most popular dates.

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
