  • Gold $20-Liberty Head Double Eagle
  • Neither displays any major abrasions although one has a few more marks on the cheek than the other. Call one "ding" and the other "ling", and you have lyrics for a Chuck Berry remake of an old Dave Bartholomew novelty song... or maybe you just have a two coin lot.

  • Hammer: $1,750
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Growth Collection. Struck to a typical level of sharpness for the date. All by itself, the obverse should grade at least MS-64 RB, or possibly fully red given ecstatic luster on that side and a near-total lack of potential distractions. On the reverse, an unusually blueberry-grey splash towards the left is to prominent to ignore and assuredly counts heavily toward constraining the grade, although otherwise, this side would be predominantly red as well.
