While all five dates within this run of Indian quarter-eagles may be considered “generic”, there is absolutely nothing “generic” about these five exquisite examples of this heavily sought after type! Each of these are NGC certified as MS-64 and includes a 1925-D, a 1926, a 1927, a 1928, and a 1929. Every example offers ample orange burst luster and incredibly clean fields that makes them more than deserving of their nearly Gem grade. Even the most critical collector would have a tough time finding fault with this grouping (ck).

Although thousands of 1891-CC tens exist today in certified mint-state grade (out of a mintage of over 100-thousand pieces), the date remains very popular with collectors and has shown little sign of price softness in current markets. Here is a rock-solid MS-62 example that triumphs with booming luster and a sharp, near-complete strike. Quality gets marred only by a fair number of the minute abrasions typical of the grade, but not a'one requires special mention.
