Silver Dollar-Peace
Despite considerable almond-orange toning across both sides, this high-relief dollar exhibits unusually prosperous luster for a coin that didn't quite meet gem expectations at NGC. Some reed marks and other random surface tics deny upgrade, but most collectors will appreciate a rather prudent strike for the type.

Lot #672 - 1893-CC "Alligator Eye" PCGS XF-40

VAM-3 is not indicated on the PCGS slab, nor is "Alligator Eye" for which the doubling in front of the eye helps explain that appellation. Not often mentioned is that this VAM also has an alligator tooth, visible as a tiny die chip between the lips. Probably at least semi-prooflike when struck, protected areas of this silver dollar still retain some flashy texture.

Here we have a signed sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise cuff bracelet that features the initials of JVB – Jimmy Victor Begay of the Navajo nation. This is a genuine statement piece with a design that is big and bold and features large spider web turquoise cabs that appear to be from the Kingman mine. Excellent condition with a dark patina to the metal. 5.59 troy ounces.
