Lot #735 - 1921 Peace, High Relief NGC MS-64
Silver Dollar-Peace
Despite considerable almond-orange toning across both sides, this high-relief dollar exhibits unusually prosperous luster for a coin that didn't quite meet gem expectations at NGC. Some reed marks and other random surface tics deny upgrade, but most collectors will appreciate a rather prudent strike for the type.

Exactingly struck and marvelously original, drop-dead gorgeous bronze-golden hue consumes the entire surface and blazes forth within a torrent of flowing mint luster. It's tough to imagine a prettier example at the numeric grade level although NGC's "plus" at least draws attention to the superior quality. A truly delightful example of a very common date Saint.

This European made 18K yellow gold brooch with a layer of platinum on top is adorned with 3.5mm natural pearls and rose cut diamond accents. This pin dates back to late 1890’s or very early 1900’s, making it the perfect collector’s piece and a historian’s dream! Dimensions 1” x 1”, 3.3 dwt.
