  • Hammer: $525
  • World Coins-Canada
  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. Struck in the year following World War II, this pair from Canada. First is 1946 50-cents, adequately struck and impressively toned with aqua-blue alongside the left edge of the silvery obverse against the concentrically toned reverse. Accompanying is 1946 dollar, nearly pristine silver-white and showing rather minimal abrading over the satin-bright surface. Two coin lot.

  • Lot #410 - 1872 NGC AU-58
  • Hammer: $5,500
  • Gold $3-Indian Princess Head
  • Scott Laiter Collection. Mintage: 2000. 74 graded AU-58, 42 higher at NGC. Undoubtedly UNC in the days before certification, the fields radiate pleasing semi-flashy luster and ample, original carrot-orange hue that speaks to excellent preservation. Well struck details seem unperturbed by wear, the grade accounted for by finger friction affecting either side consistently and about equally. An utterly delightful example.
