  • Lot #159 - 1891 $1 Martha Washington Fr# 222 - PMG XF-45
  • US Currency-Silver Certificates, Large
  • The Brewhouse Collection. Fr# 222 is much scarcer than the other Friedberg number (223) for the "open back" Marthas. This one absolutely looks AU, and one must look persistently to find the other two faint creases that limit the grade. A beautiful note adorned with myriad security threads.

  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
