Nearly perfect centering and nearly perfect paper quality team up to make this uncut run of (6) 1929 Type 2 $5 Huntingdon, Pennsylvania National bank notes a truly wonderful example of the type! PMG has wisely graded this sheet as Gum Uncirculated 65 EPQ. It is worth mentioning that the serial numbers range from A000007 through A000012 and that the Charter number is #31. Scott Laiter Collection. While sometimes found prooflike, this is a fully frosted and impressively preserved Carson City that yields all of the appearance of mint-state, right down to flowline effect all the way through the fields -- admittedly diminished just barely by touch friction. In years past, this coin was undoubtedly sold as UNC. Telltale signs of wear, if one is being honest, include a small, visibly worn spot on Liberty's cheek and exceedingly faint butterscotch accents on the highest raised portion of several hair strands. While many marks spill across both sides, most appear to be bagmarks, joined by very little evidence of circulation contact.
