A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Half Dollars-Franklin
Pristine fields teaming together with frosted white subjects makes each example within this seventeen-coin lot of Proof Franklin halves more than adequate for their assigned grade of PR-67! PCGS has certified all of these, but has done so at different times as evidenced by the different holders and labels throughout. Each year of issue from 1950 through 1963 is represented and primarily in old green holders. A few of the later issues appear to be Cameo examples but it was not designated on the label (ck).
