First is: 1910 peso, KM#453, and first year of issue represented by tremendous silvery luster but also faint abrading here and there. Impetus for the "star" becomes instantly apparent upon first view as bull's-eye album toning on the obverse and circumferential toning on the reverse are to die for. Outer rings of chartreuse-indigo, cobalt-cinnamon and champagne gold align exactly with the classic color progression expected. The coin also boasts an outstanding strike despite cracked dies, particularly for the reverse.
