Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Overton-119 (R.4), a somewhat better die-marriage for 1834, almost all examples seen, including this handsomely toned coin, will show softness within the broad juncture of the eagle's left (observed) wing and body. That said, it appears this dynamic coin received slightly above average details throughout. Circumspect examination finds a fair number of subtle hairlines in the obverse left and upper fields, suggesting an old wipe that leads to the cataloger's grade: [AU/cleaned]. That said, remaining details likely fall within AU-55 to MS-60 sharpness and the surface suffers unusually few abrasions.

Silver Dollar-Trade Dollars
Grand National Collection. A trio of Trade dollars have all seen circulation. Included are: 1875-S (XF/cleaned, no chopmarks and taken off of a reverse die that was nearly shattered), a second 1875-S (AU/chopmarked/drilled, showing white brilliance but also evidence of two small divots drilled into the surface), and 1877-S (VF, possibly faintly cleaned while currently showing gunmetal greyish blue toning throughout). Three coin lot.
