With a nearly nonexistent population of only two sheets reported, this very rare run of (12) 1934-D $5 Wide I (QA Block) silver certificates are certainly worth some serious attention. Bold blues clash against nearly Gem CU paper quality making this particular sheet a deserving recipient of the Choice UNC 64 grade it has been awarded by PMG. A simple solitaire style pendant affixed to a dainty cable link chain with a 6.15x4.65x3.50mm brilliant cut oval tourmaline, GIA report #5231280599. The gemstone is copper and manganese bearing which may be called “Paraiba” in the trade and has a beautiful electric greenish-blue color. Length 18”, 1.1 dwt.
