  •
  • Lot #338 - 1873 Open 3 MS-62 (green label), 1873 Closed 3 MS-61 (green label), and an 1873-S XF-45, all PCGS
  • Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
  • Cheddars de Voirs Collection. A trio of quarter-eagles present nicely for the collector focused on this very difficult series. The first two examples are green label holders and include: 1873 "open 3" (dusky reddish-gold and extremely well struck but showing a couple of more noticeable abrasions) and 1873 "closed 3" (greyish overtone to the overall golden hue and also showing a very good strike). Accompanying is 1873-S (modest wear and interesting ruby-gold patina throughout). Three coin lot.

  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Considerable coral-gold, carrot-orange and bluish grey intermingle on both sides, roughly correlating to a pattern of album color. Trivial linear abrasions on the cheek are worth noting, as are windmill energy and a slightly below average strike.

  • Lot #308 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom
  • Hammer: $320
  • Jewelry-Silver
  • Circa 1960/1970, this overly large sterling silver (tested, not marked) and chrysocolla squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 7-stone Naja at the bottom. With an overly bold design, the stone used in the making emulates a darker grade of turquoise than usually found in this type of necklace. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 26”, 8.40 troy ounces.
