Lightly tanned surfaces give this uncut sheet of (12) 1928-G $2 Legal Tender notes a truly organic and original look. This particular series (EA Block) is rarely seen in uncut sheet form and is truly deserving of the Choice About UNC 58 grade given by PMG. Nice centering and a very minor tear are noted (ck).

Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Lettered Edge
Overton-109a can be quickly attributed by noting a heavy die crack through AMERICA, diagnostic also of the die-state. The borders for this dynamic, near mint example feature highly attractive album toning painted in lavender-orange, russet-gold and ocean-blue colors. Substantial luster dominates the fields but as expected, it disappears within the widest expanses due to finger wear. The cataloger notes a few unimportant pinscratches over the eagle's beak and a trio of minor linear abrasions in front of the portrait.
