Gold $5-Liberty Head Half Eagle
Common dates team up for this trio, yet are interrupted by an unlisted and much better variety. Included are: 1901 (peppered by tiny bagmarks but smoothly lustrous), 1906 FS-301 (a Cherrypicker's variety but not so-listed on the slab insert), and 1907 (slightly flashy from refinished dies and showing light abrading overall). Clearly the repunched date example is the jewel of this three coin lot.

This mid-century 18K gold pin shows a lion with extremely long whiskers and head full of hair. The cat has one good eye that holds four accent diamonds as well as a 2mm blue sapphire and one eye featuring a red enamel cross patch. A touch of black enamel has been set upon the nose. Safety catch closure. Dimensions: 1.5” x 1.25”, 13.7 dwt.
