Examples ranging widely in grade from About Good through Choice Uncirculated fill this set from star to finish. It is in the typical manner of the earlier examples being more modest in condition with the “short set” dates offering much higher grading averages. Clem Stevens Collection. While not necessarily rare even in rarified air, the 1928 Oregon is that much easier to appreciate with such clean surfaces and a razor-sharp strike. An extremely faint layer of amber-tan layers the surface and has no hope of suppressing the shimmering silken luster.

The center diamond measures 15x7.9x4.9 (limited to measuring in the mounting) and is estimated to weigh 3.50 ct., SI1 clarity, Bluish Green color, Stone Groups Laboratories Report # 240418A-SJ. There are four small round diamond accents on the side weighing approximately .15 cttw, SI clarity, H color. ring size 8, 5.0 dwt.
