  • Hammer: $775
  • Half Dollars-Capped Bust, Lettered Edge
  • Overton-102, large 9, and assisted in attribution by noting "I" nearly centered between "AT" on the scroll of the reverse. Shining with unusually bright whiteness, seven points of wear has erased merely a few of the finest high relief details, leaving behind abundant luster and sharpness. Plop this coin in an album and see whether it might not recover some old-time color!

  • Lot #665 - 1892-O PCGS MS-60 (rattler) GOLD CAC
  • Hammer: $675
  • Silver Dollar-Morgan
  • Lemonade Stand Collection. The gold sticker seems to imply that CAC considers this to grade at least MS-61 but the cataloger is perfectly satisfied with the near-basal mint-state grade due to several factors. Centers are really very soft and widely abraded although the fields are about on par with a higher graded silver dollar. All this being said, the quality is at least amplified a bit by vibrant luster.
