Quarter Dollars-Capped Bust
Bachelor Simon Collection. Browning-1. The Browning plate coin in this exact same die-state might be available for a quarter-million dollars, but for most other collectors, a choice off-white example like this with formidable luster should do just fine. The underdigit shows nicely under a loupe, as does the satiny greyish surface showing no problems. There truly are no post-production defects to mention but interestingly, faint adjustment marks show across the lower portrait. A boldly appealing example of the highly sought overdate.

Lot #871 - 1909-S VDB Lincoln PCGS MS-64RB CAC

Growth Collection. There was a phase about ten years ago when MS-64 RB was considered "best" for the 1909-S VDB in terms of bang for the buck, and perhaps that holds true today. This example certainly seems on the verge of a red designation as either side gleams with 85% of the vintage brick-orange hue. Interestingly, this key cent was possibly struck off of a very slightly clipped planchet, since what appears to be a trio of tiny rim dings at first glance prove, upon closer inspection, to be almost certainly as-struck. An exceptionally detailed Lincoln cent with virtually no disturbances that would meaningfully preclude higher grade consideration.

A Natalie K. diamond cocktail ring featuring an 8.49x8.05x5.00mm round orange sapphire, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827S-SJ, with evidence of color enhancements by heat treatment with diffusion of beryllium. There is a square double halo of round brilliant diamonds and a mix of round and baguette side diamonds weighing 1.18 cttw, SI1 clarity, G-H color. Ring size 6.75, 5.9 dwt.
