  • Lot #799 - 1853 Arrows and Rays AU/PVC
  • Hammer: $700
  • Quarter Dollars-Liberty Seated
  • Cochrane Gambit Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [AU-58] but also noted is a potential trace of PVC that almost certainly can be successfully removed with professional conservation. The coin has much of the appeal of UNC given bright, shimmering silvery character beneath a mild helping of greyish peripheral toning. Trace wispy abrasions in the fields and circulation marks at far left profess the grade.

  • Lot #475 - 1907 Liberty PCGS MS-63
  • Hammer: $1,250
  • Gold $10-Liberty Head Eagle
  • Wonderfully struck and a little better preserved than average for MS-63. A fine layer of greyish patina helps smooth over trivial abrasions, creating a feel-good common date for the collector.
