  • Benjamin J. Collection. VAM-3, popular for both a doubled-die obverse and reverse. Nothing impairs the vivid luster of this obviously-choice example, although frosted areas receive some bag abrasions on the cheek and potentially slidemarks on the neck. A rather amazingly well-preserved reverse actually looks MS-66(!), elevating overall appeal of this well-liked semi-key date.

Additionally, most of these examples also show evidence of light to moderate levels of cleaning that are perfectly normal for this type and age. Included in this grouping are 2x 1897, an 1898, a 1900, 2x 1902, a 1908, a 1909, 2x 1911, a 1929, and 2x 1930 issues (ck).

  • Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
