Zee's Densities Collection. A pair of eagles both make for choice type representation. Included are: 1899 (steamy patina over gorgeous golden hue and enjoying a fantastic strike), and 1932 (the usual very good strike complemented by confident luster, although a few tiny greenish verdigris dots must be noted). Gold $10-Liberty Head Eagle
49 graded MS-63, 10 higher at NGC. Much of the mintage of 112,771 pieces must have been set aside because 1903-O seems to be the most common New Orleans eagle. Seen here is the classic satiny luster that somehow also portrays coarse subtexture throughout. A pleasing khaki-gold example that appears to be highly original.
