  • Lot #248 - 1899 Liberty eagle, and a 1932 Indian eagle, both PCGS MS-63
  • Collector Lots-Gold Type
  • Zee's Densities Collection. A pair of eagles both make for choice type representation. Included are: 1899 (steamy patina over gorgeous golden hue and enjoying a fantastic strike), and 1932 (the usual very good strike complemented by confident luster, although a few tiny greenish verdigris dots must be noted). Two coin lot.

  • Lot #363 - 1856 CACG MS-64
  • Hammer: $2,700
  • Gold $2.50-Liberty Head Quarter Eagle
  • Although not rare overall as a date, the 1856, like any earlier half-eagle, jumps into the arena of scarcity above lower mint-state grades, and this is an interesting piece for reasons other than just grade. Taken off of strongly clashed dies, the obverse die was nicely lapped while the reverse die still retains a full silhouette of Liberty as well as a forming retained cud above TAT on the reverse. The surface shows a surprising amount of overall abrading for MS-64 but also offers attractive vintage color and velvety luster.

  • From the Running Bear Trading Group of Gallup, N.M. here’s a signed Alan Chee sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet. Featured in the center is an incredible sand cast bear with three turquoise pieces. The design is completed with lots of applied feathers and curlicues. The turquoise appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. This bracelet is in excellent condition and is a genuine statement piece! 3.54 troy ounces.
