Included are: 1879-O (very good strike over exquisite, white fine-textured matte frost surfaces), 1897-S (astounding windmill energy on pure-white mint frost), and 1904 (another very good strike but the cheek disturbed by a number of tiny bagmarks). Clem Stevens Collection. Superb gem examples also see good strikes, although only 1940-S has an "FB" designation. This coin features remarkable ruby-violet and coral-gold toning that must be seen to be believed. Accompanying is 1945-S for which either side receives a broad splash of Pacific-blue color joining crimson-gold lowlights. Two coin lot.
