  • Lot #905 - 1878 NGC PR-65 RD CAMEO
  • Small Cents-Indian Head
  • Iam B. Kami Collection. 12 graded PR-65 RD, 4 higher at NGC. Snow-2PR identified by a tiny, raised dot above "ER" in LIBERTY. The extremely low population above gem only begins to speak to the extravagant rarity that accompanies virtually pristine beauty for this blazing copper-red proof cent. Decent contrast on both sides elicits the cameo designation and there can be no denying the uninterrupted red color that layers the entire surface.

  • Hammer: $3,500
  • Territorial Gold-Territorial Gold
  • Morals And Liberty Collection. Kagin-24 (R.3), plain edge, struck circa 1842-52. Christopher Bechtler passed away in 1842, thus it is assumed these were struck after his death. Proliferation of privately minted gold coins helped to fill the void of insufficient federal issues wherever gold rush events took place, and the A. Bechtler gold dollar is by far the most available of all Bechtler issues. A reasonably vintage example with feeble luster but very good darker accents embedded within recesses of either side.

  • Princess Diana’s legacy lives on in rings just like this! There is a 6.29 ct. oval heat-treated Thai sapphire measuring 11.3x9.97x6.51mm in the center of a flowery halo with a radiating royal blue color that is highlighted perfectly with 11 round brilliant diamonds weighing an estimated 1.20 cttw, VS clarity, I color. The ring is marked 90% on the inside and holds up to the 18K acid test. Ring size 6.5, 5.3 dwt.
