Large Cents-Draped Bust
Elm Then Almond Collection. Sheldon-189, a famously near-impossible key date to get straight-graded at any major grading service. Contrary to many low-grade pieces that have either a weak date or LIBERTY, this example features a nicely bold date, and LIBERTY has partial weakness only at the upper third of each letter. The coin was struck off of early dies, showing a small die chip between "E" of ONE and "T" of CENT -- a worthy diagnostic as to authenticity. An amazingly nice surface for the grade given the utter lack of environmental effects aside from normal circulation.

VAM-10 with the wormlike thread on Liberty's upper lip. Very decently struck except directly over the ear, the fields show a fair amount of flashing character, but generate not quite enough contrast for special designation. Light amber toning clings to the lower left rim.

This pretty diamond and sapphire cocktail ring features a 2.62 ct. oval teal sapphire, with indications of heat treatments, and Stone Group Laboratories report #240418F-SJ. The ring contains .49 cttw in round and shield cut side diamonds, SI clarity, G-H color. Ring size 6.5, 3.5 dwt.
