Silver Dollar-Morgan
Benjamin J. Collection. VAM-3, popular for both a doubled-die obverse and reverse. Nothing impairs the vivid luster of this obviously-choice example, although frosted areas receive some bag abrasions on the cheek and potentially slidemarks on the neck. A rather amazingly well-preserved reverse actually looks MS-66(!), elevating overall appeal of this well-liked semi-key date.

A trio of Trade dollars turns toward our trusted, terrific bidders in hopes of a tremendous transaction. [Cataloger's grades] are included as: 1876-S ([AU/wire-brushed/recolored], showing curiously deep but almost passable denim-green and russet-grey), 1877 ([XF/cleaned], and now showing curious brassy hue but also possibly some recovering album color), and 1878-S ([AU/polished], and so bright now on the obverse as to appear fully prooflike). Three coin lot.

Lot #306 - Native American Unsigned Squash Blossom

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and a 6-stone Naja at the bottom. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 23”, 5.31 troy ounces.
