  • Swap Deterred Collection. Fully embossed ink, exceptional paper quality, and fully visible margins can be readily seen when looking at this handsome foursome of 1929 series small size National Bank notes. There are three examples from the National City Bank of Evansville, IN that includes a $5, a $10, and a $20 issue. The remaining example is an equally impressive $5 issue from the Farmer’s Deposit National Bank of Pittsburgh, PA. It would not be surprising if these notes were to visit a grading service in the near future (ck).

  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • FS-401, die pair 2. While unquestionably brown overall and showing modestly glossy texture, some lighting angles cause purple toning to erupt from the obverse, creating a near-dazzling appearance that seems about impossible for a circulated, brown cent. Three or so significant abrasions land on Lincoln's lower portrait but blend well into the vintage patina. Letters in TRUST are stronger than IN GOD WE -- diagnostic of the most coveted die-marriage for a "1922 plain" cent.
