US Currency-National Bank Notes
The First National Bank of Joplin, Missouri. An extremely elusive bank, this very scarce high-denomination large was issued before Joplin's first national bank went under in 1923. The cataloger found only nine extant, this example still showing faded but legible brown signatures and three broad margins. A remarkable opportunity, especially for a note that was reported to us as having never been certified.

Bucky The Badger Consignment. A pair of Lincoln cents brighten up even a dreary day despite neither being fully red in color. Included are: 1911-S (struck with unexpected sharpness and slightly glossy over bold luster), and 1913-D (remarkable purplish over tones swirl over about two-thirds of the obverse and a quarter of the reverse). It is not everyday you see a big, green diamond! While this one has been enhanced by artificial irradiation, it doesn’t mean it is any less spectacular looking! The center diamond measures 15x7.9x4.9 (limited to measuring in the mounting) and is estimated to weigh 3.50 ct., SI1 clarity, Bluish Green color, Stone Groups Laboratories Report # 240418A-SJ. There are four small round diamond accents on the side weighing approximately .15 cttw, SI clarity, H color. ring size 8, 5.0 dwt.
