101st Airborne Collection. A group of Standing Liberty quarters was recently extracted from the consignor's Dansco collection, as all the other pieces are circulated. Included are: 1917-D type-2 (MS-62 and extremely original toning that looks much like mint-set patina), 1919 (UNC/FH but showing hazy surfaces), 1925 (Ch BU), 1926-D (UNC but not well struck and showing album color), and 1928 (Ch BU/FH and with attractive turquoise iridescence clinging to the devices. Best of both worlds. Here lies an eye-catching quartet of Walking Liberty halves that PCGS has certified as MS-65. Three of these Gem Uncirculated examples are blast white beauties and includes a 1941-S, a 1943-D, and a 1946. A lone remaining example is a 1947 that offers truly natural dusting of russet tones that screams originality. All four of these could make great candidates for a CAC stickering submission (ck).
