Copeland Society Consignment. Cataloger's grade: [AU-58]. Oh-so-close to the esteemed mint-state level, which would add enormous value to this almost fully lustrous and surprisingly blazing bright silver dollar. Even in UNC, most 1896-O dollars will not be this vibrant but there is no denying smidge of rub above and upon Liberty's ear as well as many tiny handling marks throughout.

Exuberant anthracite grey sheaths all surfaces. Only a slight tilt confirms a proof strike; revealing a patent leather gloss in fields. A fine inspection of devices divulges a subdued gradient of shades ranging from olive green to slate blue.

Circa 1960/1970, this sterling silver (tested, not marked) and turquoise squash blossom necklace features 10 blossoms set between seamed beads and an 8-stone Naja at the bottom. The design of the piece is mostly original with a slight twist on modernism. The turquoise used in the making appears to be from the Cripple Creek mine. Condition is very nice for its age with a vintage patina to the metal. Unsigned piece so tribal affiliation is unknown. Length 28”, 5.78 troy ounces.
