  • Lot #920 - 1914 Matte Proof PCGS PR-66RB
  • Small Cents-Lincoln, Wheat
  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. 50 graded PR-66 RB, 20 higher at PCGS. An incredible strike, even for a matte proof, brought up full relief for "O" in ONE opposite Lincoln's shoulder, a classic problem area even for these wonderful specimens from the U.S. mint. Satiny texture prevails over the obverse while the reverse has taken on an appealing granular aspect from that die. Not-so-subtle verdant hues occupy a majority of the surface, surrounded by glimmering vintage copper-gold hue on the obverse, contrasted with saturated magenta undertones on the reverse.

  • Lot #855 - 1864 Copper-Nickel PCGS MS-64
  • Hammer: $550
  • Small Cents-Indian Head
  • Bucky The Badger Consignment. 1864 saw the production of two distinct cent planchets. One featured the Indian head cent’s originally intended copper nickel composition, as shown. The second an easier to strike and soon-to-be-adopted bronze alloy that would used until 1982. Deeply original surfaces, showcasing a particularly glowing reverse.

  • Lot #101 - 18K Yellow Gold Coral Pendant, SGL #240827R-SJ
  • Hammer: $1,100
  • Jewelry-Pendants
  • I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
