  • Nearly complete collection of Buffalo nickels in a Dansco 7112 album
  • Nickels-Buffalo
  • Only two key date issues are missing from this nearly complete collection of Buffalo nickels that are securely housed in a Dansco album. Mostly collector grade examples are noticed throughout and range in grade from Very Good through Extra Fine with only a few exceptions. Included in this pleasing collection are the following notable examples: a 1913 Type 1 (XF), a 1913 Type 2 (AU), a 1913-D Type 2 (XF), a 1913-S Type 2 (VG+), a 1914-D (F), a 1915 (AU), a 1915-D (XF, cleaned), a 1916-D (VF), a 1916-S (F), a 1917-D (VF), a 1917-S (VG), a 1918-S (AU), a 1919-D (VG), a 1919-S (F), a 1920-S (VF, cleaned), a 1921 (XF), a 1921-S (GD+), a 1923-S (VF), a 1924-D (VF), a 1924-S (F+), and many more collector grade issues that are too numerous to mention here! A great set that just needs a couple of pieces to be brought to the finish line (ck).

  • Lot #851 - 1859 NGC PR-66
  • Hammer: $4,100
  • Small Cents-Indian Head
  • 18 graded PR-66, 1 graded PR-66 "star", 1 higher at NGC. Debut of the Indian cent in 1859 led to many being saved in mint-state, but for a series as popular as this, both proof and circulation strikes are in heavy demand at all superior grade levels. NGC nailed the grade for this utterly charming, very choice proof example. One cannot help but admire pinpoint accuracy of strike and surface preservation that seems closer to the superb gem level than not. Obverse fields are only slightly flashy against overall ultra-fine matte texture while the mirrors are by contrast a little more pronounced on the reverse.

  • Hammer: $1,100
  • Jewelry-Pendants
  • I have to admit, this one won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you will have to admit that it’s pretty darn cool! The center has a precious orangey marquise coral cabochon. There is a freeform, bezel set fossilized ammonite stone and the piece is completed with a elongated cabochon identified as rutilated quartz. None of the stones have indications of polymers or dyes, Stone Group Laboratories report #240827R-SJ. This piece has a pin on the back and also opens so it can be added to chain. Dimensions 4" x 1.5", 26.2 dwt.
